More than 600 Best Western Hotels get TriAdvisor Certificate of Exellence Award

Best Western International is celebrating a huge global achievement, after more than 600 of its global hotels were honored with the TripAdvisor ‘Certificate of Excellence’ award.

There is no greater seal of approval than being recognized by one’s customers, and with the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence based entirely on user reviews from guests, the awards are an incredible testament to the success of the Best Western brand values
To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor.com.
In total, 628 Best Western hotels from 48 countries on six continents have been honored, from Argentina to Australia, Ghana to Guatemala, South Africa to South Korea. In Asia Pacific, 68 Best Western hotels and resorts from Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam earned the awards. These outstanding properties encompass all three unique Best Western collections – BEST WESTERN, BEST WESTERN PLUS and BEST WESTERN PREMIER.
Only about 10% of hotels listed on TripAdvisor receive the Certificate of Excellence, but this year an incredible 30 percent of Best Western’s international hotels (outside the USA and Canada) earned this prestigious award.

“It gives us an enormous amount of pride that our hotels are so well respected among our guests. With our expansion plans continuing at pace, these awards also give us a great deal of confidence in the future,” Mr. de Souza added.
Founded in February 2000, TripAdvisor has become the essential user review site for the hotel industry. The site is used by more than 100 million travelers across the world and according to a recent PhoCusWright study, 98% of people believe TripAdvisor reviews “accurately reflect the experience”.
