A Fokker F-27 Frienship 400M transport plane owned by TNI (Indonesian Air Force ) was destroyed when it crashed in a residential area of Jakarta, Indonesia. All seven crew members were killed.
Fokker F-27 owned by TNI (Indonesian Air Force ) was destroyed,
crashed in a residential area near Halim Perdana Kusuma airport, all ( 7 )
crews and 3 on ground killed.
The F-27, operated by the Indonesian Air Force, departed Jakarta-Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport (HLP) on a training flight ( Crew Proviciency ) at 13:10, June 21, 2012.
The airplane was preparing to land on runway 18 when it crashed about 14:45
The airplane came down in the Rajawali housing complex, the Indonesian Air Force's housing area, near the airport.
Nine houses were destroyed by the ensuing fire. Six crew members were killed. The copilot initially survived but died in hospital later that day. Additionaly, four ( 4 ) persons on the ground were killed.
One ( 1 ) people on ground near the crashed plane are in critical condition in hospital and ten ( 10 ) others injured
Not known at what time the plane propeller fell off. There has been no confirmation from the police about this. Fokker 27 was often used for training Air Force parachute and bring logistics.

The aircraft Serial Number : 10546 manufactured by Fokker, first flight on 02 Feb.1976 ( 35 years 7 months), registration : A-2708 and powered by 2 Dart Engines.

Is still not known death toll from the collapse of Fokker aircraft, and what caused the fall. Investigation conducted by authorized investigator team from Air Force ( TNI AU).( AC editor)
